Using Gems in Clash of Clans and What You Can Use Them For

Clash of Clans is an expansive game that not only entertains hundreds of millions of their dedicated players, but makes the company, Supercell, $640,000 USD every day. The game is so successful that is garners 100,000 players every day, and that is 5 years after its initial release day on August 2, 2012.

These are strikingly high numbers, not just for mobile games that run on the Android phones and tablets and the iPhone and iPad, but these are even astonishingly high numbers even for full fledged videogames on popular consoles, like the Xbox One and Playstation 4.

It even ranks up high with competitive personal computer games that attract crowds of viewers, like Starcraft 2, Defense of the Ancients 2, and League of Legends 2. And just like those games, there are dedicated Clash of Clans hacks that guide players to become better at the game.

Using Clash of Clans hacks makes the game much easier to grasp, as you understand how to play it properly. Techniques involving gems are some of the most important Clash of Clans hacks, because they are so integral to progression in the entire game.

The gist of Gems in Clash of Clans is that they are premium currency that can be used to not only buy premium items, but shorten the time in construction upgrades for buildings and upgrading your village’s troops from the laboratory. They also serve purposes to ask your clan for troops to help defend your village from potential invaders from other players or goblins, where they may raid your village even when you’ve logged off. But another purpose for clash of clans free gems is that you can buy premium, exclusive items for your village from the gem store.

A lot of the options available in the store are things like flags, trees, and other decorative pieces, but you can also buy some beneficial stuff for your clan’s defense, offense, and survival. Due to the expensive nature of the store items, it is very hard to rack up the gems needed to buy stuff from their, but there is the option of using your real life money, like Dollars, Pounds, Euros, and Rupees to buy gems in the game. Using that, you can upgrade your town hall, and buy 3 builder huts, which lowers the construction and increases the amount of building upgrades you can manage in an amount of time.

Create Your Own Smartphone Apps with New Online Tools

Smartphone with apps

John Herrman in Popular Mechanics (see references) recently ran an article on building your own smartphone apps using tools available from those who stand to gain the most from users doing so; the smartphone makers. And while this might be something some people might want to do, there are some things they ought to know before jumping in.

First, the good news. If you’re someone that wants to create an app for a phone running Google’s Android (most phones that are not by Apple) you’re in luck. Everything you will need is free. Something else you’ll be happy to know is that you don’t need to learn how to code in some obscure programming language. Also, good news is if you want to write an app for the iPhone, and then sell it in the Apple Store, you can do that too, also without having to learn how to code.

This is all possible because of products like Google’s App Inventor, or Apple’s GameSalad. Software products that allow users to create apps using symbols and by dragging stuff around on a screen to show it what you want done, similar in many respects to the various free web building sites that can be found online.

Now for the bad news. While Google’s App inventor does indeed allow regular users to create apps, they won’t be a feature filled as those created by professional app makers. Nor will users be able to sell their creations on the Android Market; Google clearly doesn’t expect apps created with its free products to be good enough for others to use. Having said that, there is no reason users can’t create and run apps just for their own use on their own phone.

The bad news for those who want to create apps for the iPhone; would-be creators will find, much like when dealing with Apple products in general, that there are costs involved, such as the $99 annual iOS developers fee. Or the $499 cost of the upgrade software package that allows you to do all the cool stuff.

Regardless of which path developers wish to take, they should know that going down either path isn’t likely to be as easy as it might at first seem. There will be a learning curve as new concepts sink in, frustration as it isn’t always easy to get an app to do exactly what is wanted, in the way it’s wanted, and sometimes anger when unexpected issues crop up. In other words, be sure you’re willing to work hard at whatever it is you want to do, and are willing to persevere when things get tough.

Video Game Review: Wild Arms 4

If you are a fan of the Wild Arms genre, get ready for the fourth edition! Wild Arms 4 offers a brand new story line that is both captivating and inspiring. It also offers many new features from previous editions of the game. It is a must have for RPG (role playing game) fans.
You start as a 13 year old boy named Jude Maverick. Jude is a pesty little dude that relies on his mother for everything. He lives in an isolated town named Ciel. Ciel floats in the sky, way above the land of Filgaia. Ciel is encased in a large protective sphere. One day, Jude sees a large slash in the sky. A bunch of ships begin to pass into the sphere. Jude takes it upon himself to investigate the intruder’s camp. Here he runs into two of the other main characters. Soon, the invading army attacks Ciel. Jude and his companions flee in escape pods as their floating city crashes to the ground. Jude then learns that he was living a rather artificial and sheltered life. The three of them go to a nearby town where they meet the fourth party member. As the story progresses, Jude learns to stand on his own. Many questions will be raised about the attacking army as Jude and his companions journey for the answers.

Wild Arms 4 features a new Hex grid battle system that puts a new spin on turn based RPGs. Each time you enter battle, you must move your character to hex that is adjacent to an enemy’s hex in order to attack it. If there are multiple enemies in the hex, you can attack them all. The same goes for if you wish to heal a party member. The hex’s also can have elemental attributes. These can increase your spells and attacks if performed within them.

As you battle, a force meter rises. Once full, you can unleash a massive attack, boost stats, or heal your party. After battle, you receive GC points that you can distribute to raise your characters stats or to learn new spells and abilities.

While in the field, you can perform various actions. Some are “double jump,” using items to solve puzzles, or use the new “accelerator” ability to manipulate time. This makes the game more entertaining as it can drag with constant battles.

There are many nice features of the game. One is that your characters automatically heal up after battle. This is nice so that you don’t run out of healing items before a big boss fight. Another nice feature is that after you defeat a boss, you can return to the area without random enemy encounters!

The biggest problem with this game is the lack of camera controls. You can only zoom in on your environment a bit. The various cut scenes also have awful voice acting. The animation itself seems a bit dated, but it is not too bad. The musical score is a typical heroic theme, but still quite catchy. All and all, none of this matters because of the gripping story and great game play.

Wild Arms 4 is available on Playstation 2. It has an ESRB rating of T for teen. This is because the game features mild language and fantasy violence. If you need a bit of help with the game or if you just want to cheat… a strategy guide is available.
